Casablanca to host Africa Food Show

MIE Events will be organizing a major happening for agricultural players in Africa, from November 21 to 23, at the Office des Changes in Casablanca. The MIE group has been present in the MENA region for over 23 years, and aims to bring together over 300 players in the agri-food sector to establish lasting business relationships. Through its exhibitions, it accompanies several Chinese companies in the Middle East and Africa. With a strong presence in Dubai, the MIE Group has deployed its activities in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Nairobi (Kenya) and Ghana, where the "Ghana Investment Trade Week" summit was organized under the aegis of the Presidency of Ghana, between October 23 and 25, and in Casablanca as the final stage of the trade fairs organized in Africa.

The MIE Group has organized over 100 renowned international exhibitions, bringing together 60,000 Chinese exhibitors in the Middle East and Africa. It has also developed a unique "one-stop-shop" approach to facilitating the development of business opportunities.

MIE announces that the "Africa Food Show", to be held in Casablanca next month, will bring together over 10 exhibiting countries and at least 7,500 national and international visitors. "Morocco is at the heart of our development strategy. It's a pivotal country for business development in Africa. Morocco and China have already established large-scale trade and investment exchanges. Today, we are witnessing a consolidation of Sino-Moroccan relations, which is giving us a valuable first step towards accelerating the recovery. We are what we call Foreigner Business Drivers, incubators of relations with foreign countries. Thanks to our various editions in a number of sectors, we have a perfect command of these connections", asserts Ahmed Zahoor (on the left in the photo), Vice-President of Strategy and Partnerships at the MIE Group.

For his part, Othmane Mediouni (right in photo), Country Manager Morocco for the MIE Group, explains: "The Africa Food Show is an extraordinary opportunity to dissect the agri-food sector, with a dozen seminars bringing together experts from the sector and quality networking, which will create crucial twinnings. We are convinced that this edition will be special, in terms of advances for the country".
